Shoulder surgery today. I won't know until it's over what my recovery will be. I could either be moving it by the end of the week. Or I could be unable to move it for 6 weeks. So much fun!

Mystery Solved
For almost 2 years we have only had a trickle of hot water into our large tub in the basement. Dad has tried to fix it several times with no luck. So when we have wanted a bath we start the tub and set the timer for 30 minutes and that's when it would be full. Yesterday after fixing a pipe going into the water heater that broke (ruining a wall or two) he and Tyler decided to try again. SUCCESS!! The built up pressure shot this thing out at Dad. Mysteriously it was in the pipe. You can see how little water was getting around it. It's not a pipe connected to a drain so we can't have dropped it in there. It's so weird, but will remain a mystery. On the plus side last night the bathtub filled up in about 5 minutes.

Christmas Eve
Carter didn't have time to stick around for the group photo. He was done with the nativity. He was in such a weird mood all night and had the worst luck. He fell in the hall and got hit in the head with the heavy door. He has a nice mark on his head front that. He wasn't about to pose for pictures in his Christmas pajamas.

It Was A Big Raccoon
In the last 6 months I've been responsible for taking out the back and now the front end of my parents minivan. I hit a big fat raccoon dead on the right side going 65 mph the other night. I didn't even have time to slow down. We were almost home so we made it there before every fluid in the van leaked out. Then the van had to be towed to the shop! It destroyed the radiator, the oil pan, and all other kinds of damage. Now it's fixed and all pretty I think I'll stick to driving their Jeep. Which is also damaged, just not by me. 😉
